On 14th June, together with resident Alana, we gave our outdoor Kambala space a much-needed clean-up as we prepare to transform the area outside the community hall into a welcoming space for all our residents to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge thank you to Foster + Partners<\/strong> for their generous donation of tables and chairs, to Battersea Power Station<\/strong> for donating children’s books, whiteboards, games, and stationery, and to Elizabeth Oddono<\/strong> for kindly delivering everything to us.

Already, this space is beginning to make a difference. During last Friday’s heatwave, it became a hydration station where residents could cool down and connect. Our partner from Waste Not Want Not Battersea brought a variety of cold drinks to share with everyone passing by. We’ve also shared breakfasts, pastries, and food with our neighbours, bringing people together and making the most of this growing community space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see the area continue to develop into a vibrant outdoor hub where residents can meet, learn, relax, and support one another. \ud83c\udf3f\u2600\ufe0f\ud83d\udc9b<\/p>\n\n\n\n
